The motion picture begins with the kidnapping of Jessica Martin, starred by Kim Bassinger. Jessica is a high school science instructor, (that happens to be dressed in fishnet stockings!!) who has her home broken into and strangely taken away to an unknown location by the “bad guys” and sited in an attic. They crash the phone hanging on the wall and proceed to lock Jessica in the attic. Jessica then “rigs” the wrecked phone (keep in mind – she’s a science teacher) and is capable to aimlessly dial a phone number.
